CBD — without the high
CBD is one of the compounds in cannabis — but unlike THC, it doesn't get you high. People use it for sleep, anxiety, pain, and general wellness. Here's what we carry, honestly.
When CBD might fit
- You want to try cannabis-related products without the high
- You're using cannabis for sleep but THC keeps you up too long
- You're using it during the day and need to function
- Pain management as a daily routine (consult doctor first)
- You're combining with THC strains to balance the effect
What we typically carry
CBD oil tinctures: drops under tongue · 500mg–1500mg total CBD per bottle
CBD capsules: easier dosing · 10–25mg CBD per capsule
1:1 CBD:THC flower (/g): balanced flower for those who want both effects
CBD-dominant flower (/g): ~15–20% CBD, <1% THC · day-friendly
CBD vs THC
THC: the compound that gets you high · best known cannabis effect
CBD: doesn't get you high · often described as "body relaxation, mental calm without intoxication"
Many people combine CBD with THC strains — the CBD tones down THC's anxious edge while keeping the pleasant effect.
Honest caveats
We're not a medical clinic. We don't prescribe. The CBD products we sell are cannabis products, not pharmaceutical CBD.
If you're using CBD for a medical condition, talk to a doctor first. Especially if you take other medications — CBD interacts with how your liver processes some drugs (notably blood thinners).
Effects of CBD are real for many people but vary widely. Some feel immediate calm; some need 2-4 weeks of daily use to notice anything.
Dosing — start low
- First time: 5–10mg · once a day
- Wait 1-2 weeks at the same dose before increasing
- Typical effective dose: 15–40mg per day, depending on what you're using it for
- You can't overdose on CBD in a dangerous way · max effect is around 60–100mg
